Take the guesswork and error out of cutting neck notches in your cigar box guitars with this custom laser-cut centering template!
This template is based on a tool used by Shane Speal for years, and allows you to quickly and easily find the center of a cigar box side, and mark a notch on it for the neck. Take a look at the photos and the demo video and the use of this template should immediately become apparent!
This template is 14" wide by 3" tall and 0.80" thick, and will handle cigar boxes (or other boxes) up to 14" wide. We cut and engrave these on our CNC laser cutter in the C. B. Gitty workshops, so they are Made in the USA!
Acrylic this thin is rather brittle, so treat these templates gently and don't bend them, otherwise they might break!
