This is an authentic MojoBoneWorks half-and-half slide, formed by craftsman Randy Bretz from well-cured cow bone and ironwood. Each one of these pieces is individually hand-crafted and formed by Randy, and you can be sure that it will bring a strong dose of mojo to your slide-playing style! Since it is formed from two natural materials, the slide can be turned while playing to coax subtly different sounds from the strings.

Each slide includes a piece of adhesive-backed faux moleskin which can be cut and placed in the slide's interior as needed to customize the fit to your finger. Please refer to the pictures above and below for an idea of the size of this slide. The slide in the pictures is the exact slide you are buying.

Please note that this is a handcrafted piece of musical art made from natural organic materials. Each slide has its own unique facets and personality - this is no mass-produced factory slide! Because of the natural materials, proper care and handling is necessary to get the best longevity out of your slide. With proper care and handling, they will last many years. Avoid extremes of temperature, also extremes of dryness and humidity, which cause the wood to swell and shrink and put stress on the glue joint. Also do not submerge the slide and avoid subjecting it to strong mechanical force or stresses. We have a 14 day money-back return policy for these slides, and we will also repair/replace any that fail due to the glue joint coming loose within the first 90 days -- however we are not responsible for slides that get broken due to dropping or other clear mishandling. All slides must returned to us to qualify for repair/replacement.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: We ship orders promptly and well-packaged, but we have no control over things like international customs, tariffs, taxes you may be charged on delivery, etc. Also, because this item contains bone from an animal, it may be subject to restrictions in your country. Overall, we have had very good results shipping internationally, but you need to realize that there are some inherent risks. There is no real tracking or delivery confirmation for USPS First Class Mail International and Priority Mail, and it can take a month or more for items to clear customs. During that time, we have no way of knowing where the package is or why it is delayed. This is just part of international business. If you are not willing to take on this risk, please contact us and we can discuss a more secure international shipping option with real tracking/delivery confirmation, sucha s DHL. However, these services are much more expensive than USPS so that is the trade-off.
