Spirits Canjo Series: "Amberlite Gunpowder" One-string Tin Can Banjo
Get ready for some down-home pickin' and grinnin'! This new canjo model features a reproduction of an actual old gunpowder tin label, printed on a Made-in-the-USA 1-pint F-style spirits can. The graphic is printed directly onto the surface of the can using a special flatbed printer that uses enamel inks cured with UV light, for a super-durable finish. We print the cans here at C. B. Gitty HQ in New Hampshire, and then attach them to our in-house made diatonic canjo necks to make an awesome, fun-and-easy-to-play one-string instrument!
Each canjo comes with a how-to-play sheet, a spare string and pick. We also have free how-to-play canjo resources available over at www.CigarBoxGuitar.com, to help you get started picking.
These canjos have a 24.5-inch scale length, a 29-inch overall length, come with a single .012" plain steel string, and have diatonic (dulcimer-style) fretting with the extra "blue note" fret added. They are compatible with all of Ben Gitty's Canjo Songbooks.
