Arsenic Poison Apothecary Can - Choose Size - Great for Canjos, Resonators & More!

Here's a unique heritage-inspired item you can use for decorative purposes, crafts, or for your next canjo or cigar box resonator tin. To create these unique pieces, Ben Gitty takes Made-in-the-USA "F-style" spirits cans (either 8oz, 16oz or 32oz size), and prints on them a carefully restored old graphic to create very distinctive and visually appealing pieces. These are not just decals - the images are printed directly onto the metal cans using special UV light-cured enamel inks and a custom flatbed printer.

This particular design is a careful reworking from an actual apothecary/pharmacy poison bottle label used during the early 1900's in York, Pennsylvania.

These cans are made in the USA and we print them right here in our Rochester, New Hampshire shop, so you can buy with confidence. Please note that these are INDUSTRIAL-GRADE cans, and from the manufacturer they often have minor dents and other slight imperfections, which just add to the patina and vintage look. Only one side of the can is printed. Each print job is carefully set up by hand and takes a few minutes to run, which helps explain the pricing of these custom items. These cans are sold EMPTY, for decorative/craft uses only, and are NOT rated for food storage. A matching metal lid is included.

Half-Pint: 5.4 inches tall (including cap), 2.8 inches wide and 1.5 inches thick. The opening size is 1 inch.
Pint: Just under 6.5 inches tall (including cap), 4 inches wide and 1.75 inches thick. The opening size is 1 inch.
Quart: 7.5 inches tall (including cap), 4.6 inches wide and 2.4 inches thick. The opening size is 1.25 inches.
