Here are some more answers to commonly asked questions :

 

  • What shipping method do you use?
    • We primarily use the U. S. Postal Service, with the service type ranging from First Class Mail through Parcel Post, Priority Mail and in rare/special cases Express Mail. We also offer FedEx Ground.
  • Do you ship to my country?
    • We ship to all countries that U.S. laws and treaties allow. Please note that as an international buyer you may be responsible for import duties, taxes and other charges within your country. This is an unfortunate unavoidable reality of international commerce, and it is your responsibility as an importer to know your country's rules and regulations.
  • I need my package faster. How do I specify Priority Mail or Express Mail?
    • We have added the ability to specify Priority Mail for domestic US orders, to ensure that your package is shipped using that faster (and more expensive) method. Beyond that, in general here is what we do when shipping orders:
      • DOMESTIC ORDERS
        • Small/light orders will go via First Class Mail, which has a 2-5 day delivery time to the United States.
        • Most Larger/heavier orders (over 13 ounces) will go via Priority Mail, which has a 2-3 day delivery time throughout the United States
        • Very large/bulky items such as cigar box guitars and other instruments will generally go via Parcel Post, unless special arrangements are made.
        • Express mail (1-2 day delivery) is only used if special arrangements are made prior to shipping, with additional costs being applied
      • INTERNATIONAL ORDER
        • Shipping method for international orders varies depending on a number of factors including total weight of the package, the amount charged to the customer for shipping by the shopping cart application, size/bulk of the package, etc. In general, First Class Mail International can be used for packages up to 4 lbs. in weight, but in some cases we will use Priority Mail if a sufficient amount was charged for shipping by the shopping cart app.
        • If you want to specify that a certain shipping method be used, please add a note to your order or send us an e-mail before making payment so that we can adjust the shipping cost appropiately!
  • How soon will my items ship?
    • In general, orders received and paid before 9 AM US Eastern Time on a weekday (Monday - Friday) will ship that same day. Orders received after 9 AM will ship the next business day. Items ordered after 9 AM on Friday will be shipped on the following Monday, as we do not ship on Saturdays. If you need rush handling please give us a call or send an e-mail - while it may not always be possible, we do our best to accomodate customer needs.
  • What payment methods do you accept?
    • The standard payment methods accepted are PayPal, Credit Card or Amazon Pay. Orders successfully payed via PayPal should be updated to the Awaiting Fulfillment status immediately.
    • We only accept personal checks, with sufficient time to allow checks to clear before shipment.
    • We no longer accept money orders.
  • I want to order in bulk at a discount. How can I do this?
    • Some of our most popular products have built-in discounts that get applied at certain quantities. If you are interested in larger bulk quantities, please send us an e-mail at support@cbgitty.com to discuss options. In general, we consider bulk quantities to be at least equivalent 10 or more packs of our largest-pacakged quantity of an item. For example, if you want bulk pricing on Neutrik Mono Jacks, our largest packaged size of those is 25-packs, so bulk pricing would start around 250pcs.
  • I'm a teacher. Do you offer any special options for schools?
    • We have worked with quite a few teachers and schools around the country on cigar box guitar building projects. Send us an e-mail at gwatt@cbgitty.com with details of what you are looking to do, and we can discuss options.
