Portable DIY Cigar Box Guitar Stand Kit - easily build a folding CBG stand using just a screwdriver!

Easily build yourself a handy, portable stand for your cigar box guitar or other instrument. Crafted from 6mm-thick Baltic Birch plywood, and designed and manufactured right here in the C. B. Gitty Shop in New Hampshire, USA, this stand was designed BY cigar box guitar builders FOR cigar box guitar builders! All you need to put it together is a standard Phillips screwdriver (#1 or #2 bit), and about 10 minutes of your time.

These are sized to fit in standard gig bags, and for use with cigar box guitars and other lighter instruments (it's not really recommended for big, heavy, solid-body electrics or basses). The overall width/size can be adjusted for different instrument sizes -- we have tested them with standard 6-string acoustics right down to mandolins, with great results.

The overall size when assembled is 12 inches tall by 12 inches deep by about 8 - 11 inches wide (depending on how you knot the joining cord).

One more thing - we'd like to acknowledge that folks in the CBG community have come up with a lot of different styles of stands over the years, and some of them were similar to what we ended up with for this one. Our intent when designing new products here at C. B. Gitty is always to take a concept and refine/improve it in the best way we can, and never to rip off someone else's idea and call it our own.
