Description
This sturdy tool is designed for reaming just the right taper into the peg heads of instruments that use wooden friction-style tuning pegs, such as fiddles, old-time banjos and more. The tapered cutting shaft is 4.25 inches in length and its diameter starts at 0.226in. and increases to .383in, for a taper of 1:30.
These tools come with a rubber sleeve to protect the blades. They are NOT intended for reaming bridge pin holes (the diameter is too large), only for tuning pegs.
