I designed these strings for cigar box guitarists who want to play all those cool riffs they learned on conventional guitars.  Tuned E-A-D-G, just like the four lowest strings of a guitar, these strings are a lighter gauge, which will provide less tension on cigar box guitar necks without truss rods.  This setup was central to my Reso-Electro Cigar Box Guitar Project (link).

One-Man Band extraordinaire A. J. Gaither gave us the inspiration and name for this "Arkansas Tuning" set - you can see his signature Arkansas Tenor Acoustic string set here.

Oh yeah... I also included several alternate tuning ideas, printed right on the pack.  Take the Arkansas Tuning and drop it down to a grinding Open D, D minor and even the jazzy D7th tuning, which sounds great on slide guitar!
