Shipping & Returns
With exceptions (see below), we ship to every international destination allowed by United States law. We primarily use the United States Postal Service for all domestic and international shipments, but occasionally use FedEx for large and bulky domestic shipments.
Order Handling Time
In general, orders received and paid before 9 AM US Eastern Time on a weekday (Monday - Friday) will ship that same day. Orders received after 9 AM will ship the next business day. Items ordered after 9 AM on Friday will be shipped on the following Monday, as we do not ship on Saturdays. If you need rush handling please give us a call or send an e-mail - while it may not always be possible, we do our best to accomodate customer needs.
The delivery times shown for the different shipping options are estimates only, and are not guarantees. During high-volume times (such as around Christmas) the USPS and other carriers often take longer than usual to deliver packages. This is beyond our control, and there is no way for us to make things go faster.
We will refund the purchase price or replace the item upon return of the original shipment to us, if the items are returned within 21 days of having been received. The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. If you are unhappy with your order for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are committed to dealing with our customers the same way we want to be dealt with when we buy something online. Please note that certain products, such as electronic media, are not eligible for returns, due to their easily reproducable nature. Also, for certain items there may be a restocking fee (up to 20% of original price) assessed to recoup some of the costs of shipping and the time it takes to correct any issues that arrise from shipping, and to repackage products and relist items on our site(s).
Most U. S. orders over $50.00 (after discounts) should qualify for free shipping. There are certain rare cases where free shipping will not apply, even if the shopping cart indicates that it does. One such case is where the majority of the order is made up by a gift certificate in value of $50 or more. Other cases would be large, bulky packages that would be very expensive to send to the specified address. If additional shipping funds are required, we will contact you before shipment to make arrangements.
International Buyers, please be aware that we cannot and will not falsify shipment values to try to avoid customs duties. Customs duties are simply a fact of life when it comes to international commerce, and you need to factor that into your total cost when deciding to make a purchase. Our policy is to declare the actual purchase price of the order, less the shipping cost.
Free International Shipping
We offer, with some restrictions, free shipping on most international orders that meet certain thresholds (See this page for current free international shipping levels). However, we may not be able to fulfill free shipping on every order that meets these thresholds. Large/heavy orders (containing large numbers of empty cigar boxes, kits or necks) are very expensive to ship and we can't guarantee that we'll be able to ship every one of these for free. In the cases when we cannot, we will contact you to request you cover roughly half of the actual shipping costs. We reserve the right to adjust this free shipping offer as needed on a per-order basis based on actual costs.
