Metal 9-Volt Battery Mounting Clips - Choose Pack Size, Psycho Knob Board - Internal Distortion/Boost/Overdrive for Guitar or Amp - now with pre-wired leads!, 3-pack Neutrik 1/4-inch Mono Guitar Jacks

An ACID "Kuba-Kuba" cigar box became the body of my recently completed "Psycho Box". An inch and a half was removed from the overall height and the original bottom board was re-used. (The box is not higher on one side than the other. A wire was caught between the lid and the box side which I didn't notice when the pic was snapped. The box was then stained with very old barb wire which had been totally dissolved in vinegar. This really changed it's looks from it's original beautiful cigar box finish. Ben does purvey these ACID boxes rather inexpensively if you choose to utilize the same type of box, but have trouble locating one. The box lid saw the addition of appropriate sized holes to accept two Neutrik long neck jacks and the psycho board's adjustment knob. One of Ben's 9 volt battery clips was screwed onto the lid so the battery could at least say that it had some place to call its own. I had intended on using one of the laser cut skull sound hole covers that Ben has, but forgot to include them on my order, silly me....so I made one out of small scrap and did a little wood burning magic to spiff it up. Do believe the knob currently in use will be replaced by something more "appropriate looking" (in my opinion), though. The completed unit works and works well. I really like knob positions #2 & #3. They make my 3 stringers sound awesome! WARNING/CAVEAT: Position #4 is gonna raise th' dead....just sayin', mind you.
