Ukulele Rod Piezo Harness with Volume & Endpin Strap Button Jack - NO SOLDER

This is a pre-wired rod piezo harness for ukulele, cigar box guitar and tenor guitar that includes a volume pot and a high-quality Neutrik chrome end pin strap button output jack. Installation of this harness requires NO SOLDERING - all you have to do is drill some holes, connect the plugs and you're good to go! The rod piezo was originally designed for a 4-string concert ukulele, and has four"piezo pads" on it, which also makes it perfect for 3 and 4-string cigar box guitars! We also carry a similar harness that includes an acoustic guitar rod piezo intended for 6-string instruments (product number 50-044-01).

This harness includes 12" leads between the components so that you have plenty of slack to install them how you want in your box. The volume control is a 500KOhm audio-taper potentiometer. Please note that rod piezos are designed to be placed underneath the bone/plastic saddle on a standard ukulele, where they are exposed to the downward pressure created by the strings. The closer you can get to using them in this way, the better results you will have!
