"Electric Delta" 4-pole Electric Cigar Box Guitar Pickup with Volume and Tone by Foundry-Tone
These pickups could be straight out of an inventor's barn in the 1940's. If the cigar box guitar was originally meant to be electrified, these would have been the pickups to do it. Consider them modern-vintage or an alternate universe time capsule where cigar boxes reigned over Str@ts.
And the tone is pure Mississippi: a snarling single coil gnashing out 4.25 kOhms of fury. No wiring. No soldering. Just shove 'em in your next masterpiece and plug it into an amp. It's as simple as that. This version of the Electric Delta includes Volume & Tone pots to give you a little more control over the sound of your build! Volume and Tone Knobs sold separately.
Never before has a true 4-pole pickup harness been available at this price! They have a laser-cut and engraved wooden top and bottom to the bobbin, and come pre-wired to a mono output jack with a 12-inch shielded lead. These pickups are intended to be mounted into the cavity of a guitar so that the top of the bobin extends up through an obling, rounded-end rectangle cut in the top. The mounting screws are meant for the outer most holes of the pickup, rather than the two in the center.
Chrome through-bobbin mounting screws are included.
We offer new pickup rings that fit this model! Check them out here!
