"Workshop Seconds" Handcrafted Ceramic Stubby Guitar Slides by Janis Wilson Hughes

Note: These are "workshop second" slides - that means that each one will have minor (in some cases nearly undetectable) imperfections, which caused them to not pass the maker's quality checks - but they are still very much usable! Rather than toss them out, we decided to offer them at a 25% discount until they're gone. 

These are great ceramic stubby slides for cigar box guitar playing (and other slide instruments with 3-4 strings).   Their shorter length allows for quick maneuverability between the strings and the mass is great for sustain. Available in nine beautiful colors and styles, these slides are lovingly handmade by veteran potter, artist and cigar box guitar builder, Janis Wilson Hughes of Evolution Stoneware Pottery.

The length of each slide is ~1 3/4", with an Outer Diameter of ~1 1/8" with an inner of about 3/4", sized to fit an adult's ring finger. Due to the nature of these being handmade, there may be a slight variation to these, but it's almost negligible. All of these slides have subtle variations in color, tone and shape which makes each and every one of them unique. This length is perfect for 3 and 4-string cigar box guitars.
