Description

It's hard to beat a traditional design when it sounds this darn good. Fully fretted to a 23-inch scale, this 3-string acoustic/electric cigar box guitar is strung "BluesG" GDG. It is considered a "neck through" model cigar box guitar, where the neck runs through the inside of the cigar box.

7-20-4 cigars is a company name that stretches back to the original founding in 1874. The factory in Manchester, NH was one of the largest exporters of cigars and tobacco in the world, until the cigar embargo prevented them from getting Havana leaf, causing them to close shop in 1964.  The brand was bought and revived by Kurt Kendall of Twins Smoke Shop in the early 2000's and since then, they have produced some of the most well-reviewed cigars of the last decade.

Hand-crafted by Dan "Deke" Caldwell in the C. B. Gitty workshop, the body of this guitar is made out of a thin all-wood cigar box that produces an impressive acoustic presence. Paired with our Medium GDG Blues set, the humbucker in this guitar is not as hot as some, bringing the best of a Humbucker with the output of a single coil.
