Cigar Box Nation 1.5-inch Steel Stubby Slide

It's only 1.5 inches in length, with an outer diameter of 1 inch and inner diameter of 0.75 inch. This slide is perfect for 3 and 4-string cigar box guitars, in keeping with Cigar Box Nation's theme!

These slides are produced in very small batches, in a time-intensive process (see above) - which explains why they are priced at a premium - but guitar connoisseurs know the value of UNIQUE and DISTINCTIVE accessories such as these! We ship them in a protective cardboard tube, along with a piece of adhesive moleskin that you can cut into strips and stick inside the slide (on the bottom side, opposite the etched design) to size it to your finger. The design is infused into the metal using a special laser process, which causes a chemical change that creates a permanent, durable mark without changing the texture of the surface (no bumps or indentations). The design is quite durable and should stand up to many years of use.

Dimensions: ~1-inch outside diameter, ~0.75-inch inside diameter (use included moleskin to size it smaller - may not be suitable for larger fingers), and is 1.5 inches long. They are made from regular mild steel and may rust if exposed to humid conditions - just buff with steel wool to keep clean and shiny, it won't hurt the engraving.
