This is a single black "rail style" humbucker pickup, with ferrite magnets and rated at 9.3KOhms of impedance. This is the style of pickup featured in Shane Speal's GuitarWorld.com article on his homemade lap steel guitar.

To wire these, treat the green/bare wire as the ground, the red wire as the positive, and leave the white and black wires joined together (but not connected to either hot or ground). The white and black wires can be split up if you want to get fancy and try to wire the two coils of the humbucker separately, but you're on your own if you want to venture into that!
