Cigar Box Guitar Design: The Autumn Rust Look
I've used this look on several cigar box guitars and they're always the fastest to sell:
- The bridge cover is a Gitty Colonial box handle that I painted with Rustoleum Dark Brown textured spray paint
- The sound holes are actually hardwood mini humbucker pickup ringswith a piece of Lowe's cloverleaf sheet metal screen under them. The screen was also painted with Rustoleum textured paint.

ps. Here's a demo video I recorded of this guitar in action. It's simply a 2-string "Chugger" that's 100% acoustic. No pickups. Just a stick through a box with an internal window spring to add natural reverb.
