Introducing the 2022 C. B. Gitty International Video Playoff Winners!
We're proud to announce the winners of the 2022 C. B. Gitty Video Playoffs which was held in conjunction with The New Orleans Cigar Box Guitar Festival. There were dozens of entries submitted, with a diverse selection of music styles, all played on homemade instruments. A specially selected panel of 24 judges selected the following as the top players.
The grand prize winner and recipient of $500 is Sergi Estella of Rubi, Spain, who submitted the following video.
The second prize of $300 is awarded to Erin Coburn of Middletown, Ohio.
Pittsburgh's Pierce Dipner clenched the third prize of $200 with this video.
The remaining Top 10 finishers, alphabetically are Chris Freeman (USA), Cigarbox Henri (Netherlands), Dots (UK), Pavil Danilov (Russia), Steve Holladay (US), Two Rats (Argentina) and Walt Lysack (US).
We'd like to thank everyone who submitted a video this year and look forward to the next Video Playoff Contest which will happen later this year.
