VIDEO: St. Louis Church Diddley Bow Band Gives Grand Performance!
Connect Church in St. Louis has become one of the earliest adopters of C. B. Gitty's Cigar Box Guitars in Schools Program by providing 15 Sunday school students with diddley bow kits.
Lead by teachers, Dana Weigel and Chris Perstrope, the class first built their own cigar box diddley bows and then performed for the entire congregation. We first blogged about them in March when we posted a video of the kids practicing and getting to know their instruments.
Since then, the kids have been practicing A LOT and just delivered a grand performance of Amazing Grace this past Sunday. Check out the video, with a quick intro by Dana:
