In May 2013, Ben Baker signed the papers and moved C. B. Gitty Crafter Supply into the Gonic Mill, a large brick complex on the Cocheco River in Gonic, New Hampshire. Since moving in, we've been able to reclaim some old wood from structure, including a good amount of pine boards from the oldest part of the structure.
This newspaper article from the local newspaper does a good job of telling the history of the mill building.
"Moving C. B. Gitty Crafter Supply into this great old mill complex just felt right," Ben said. "When I first walked in, it just smelled like old American industry - that mix of grease, oil, sweat and time that you just can't reproduce. I've always loved local history, and I continue to learn new things about the Gonic Mill's story, so it is a great fit."
