"Rail Runner" Hardwood Bridges for Cigar Box Guitars - Laser-cut out of beautiful hardwood!
We proudly present the "Rail Runner 2.0" line of cigar box guitar bridges.
Laser-cut out of domestic and exotic hardwoods, they are perfect for mounting on the top of your box as a simple, yet effective, bridge.
For the applicable listings, the lead on the rod piezo is 12" long and terminates in a 2.5mm male plug. This plug can be cut off to expose the inner insulated wire (positive) and outer mesh ground wire of the lead (if you want to wire it to your own jack). Alternately, you have the option of adding a pickup harness for a complete package ready to install in your cigar box guitar!
Please Note: The versions without Piezos embedded are cut differently and will require a bit of modification to fit the piezo into, as the depth is much shallower.
This listing is for a single bridge/harness, based on the options you choose above.
These bridges are about 2.75" long and roughly 3/8" in total height, including the saddle. The width of the bridge base (top to bottom) is about 1 3/32". The bridge can either be left floating or could be glued/screwed down if so desired. You will need to drill a small hole (about 1/8" to 3/16") in your cigar box top to feed the lead through.
These are Laser-Cut in the C. B. Gitty workshop, and will make a great addition to your special cigar box guitar or other homemade instrument build!
